MELODY A Philadelphia elementary school student was scolded and searched by administrators in front of her entire class after she pulled out a paper gun in class last week, according to her mother.

Melody Valentin’s mother, Dianna Kelly, tells Fox 29 that school officials went too far when they reportedly punished her daughter for pulling out the gun, which she says looks like a folded sheet of paper.

There is no common sense anymore. Liberal morons are everywhere and are creating so much panic over nothing. If a student even points a finger at another student now, it’s considered a murderus threat. Completely asinine. I say sue the school over harassment, interrogation of a minor without parental involvement, abuse of a minor, and civil violations. The prinicpal should be relieved of all duties. The superintendant should be reprimanded and issued sanctions.

If she were my daughter, she would not be returning to school. She would be a new student in my HOMESCHOOL where reality still matters. The best way to make school safer is to ban public schools. I know many do not have the requisite skill to teach a given subject…perhaps you’re weak in math or history. No problem. If your neighborhood all home-schooled, there would be individuals in tight neighborhood schools with every bit of knowledge needed to turn out TRULY educated kids. Public schools are infested with Liberals and Union Goons that care nothing for your kid’s education. What these goons did to this little girl is nothing short of TERRORISM.

Read Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”. One of the points is to demonize a portion of our population, in this case, gun owners. They are attempting to make legal gun owners as vile as pedophiles. It’s like the 6-year-old boy suspended for making a “finger gun” and saying “pow”. Or the 5-year-old girl interrogated by school officials for THREE HOURS before her parents were notified, for saying she was going to go home and get her Hello Kitty bubble gun and shoot bubbles at another girl in a fit of anger.

As Obama would say, “The School Officials and Teacher acted Stupidly” enough said. The School Officials and the Teacher that allowed this search and interrogation of this little girl in front of the class without her Parents present or her Parents approval should be arrested and charged with Child Abuse and Child Endangerment.

This kind of crap happens repeatedly from news reports I see. I think we need a national screening of teachers and administrators for just plain common sense. Can’t they do that when they are in college ?

When they advertise for teachers and principles do they require that they have a black belt in ignorance? What is wrong with people? I agree with SIRWIZARD I would pull my child out and homeschool them. If enough parents did that the schools would have to quit being stupid because they would be losing money from all the childern leaving their school. School systems only get paid for the number of students at school each day.

Let me get this straight. Only the criminals have guns in Chicago, and they use those guns to kill each other and random good folks. So the president wants to take away all our guns. A little boy was suspended from school for eating his breakfast pastry into the shape of a gun….he had turned it into a mountain, then kept eating and somebody said it looked like a gun, so it was a gun. Now a little girl had a small piece of paper with a notch torn out of it (which she didn’t do, by the way) and somebody said it looked like a gun, so it became a gun. What in heck were these kids aiming to do with pastry and paper guns? Terrorize the class? These are very, very stupid school administrators, and I’m no rocket scientist, but I can see no harm that these children have done, but a great deal of harm done to the two children. Not only that, but to turn other little kids into “snitches” for the progressives is tantamount to cruelty to children. Oh, and don’t forget about the boys who stopped another boy with a gun on a school bus from shooting another boy because said boy had argued with his friend. Where’s the beef on this one after the good boys were suspended? My goodness…is Big Brother already here and working hard to turn in every little innocent? I’m so fed up with this garbage that I’m ready to burst a blood vessel. Grown ups like those (I question their mentality!) had better get a grip on reality.

That’s not a ‘paper gun’. It is a piece of paper with the corner torn off! Maybe she wrote a small note on it and just tore it out of the full sheet? Or supposedly ‘teachers’ have lost their everloving minds! Once more, they have succeded in turning other kids into vicious mopnsters that have another way of getting their friends, or former friends, into trouble for something they can connect them to anything about a firearm.

Apparently stupidity is a requirement to be a school administrator these days. We see more and more of these utterly ridiculous, over the top, empty headed reactions to trivial actions that in another day, when common sense reigned, wouldn’t even have been noticed.
