Bullshit. I have worked with and for women in various careers and various jobs, from blue collar labor to white collar professional, for 18 years. They are just as willing to take credit for their work (and for others work) as their male counterparts. This type of generalized drivel “All women do this….”, “All Race X do that….” is just bullshit.

We are all people, and are products of our upbringing, not our genetic makeup. if a women is timid and won’t speak up to take credit then that was how she was raised or taught by her life to that point. Her genitals have nothing to do with it.

Bravo for those women. There is a new generation!

New generation…seems to happen every generation without fail…it’s like saying brave new world like that means something is actually new or brave about it that’s different from the old cowardly world.

Next up for most overused useless phrases is “going forward” like there was a choice to do something else. Just useless noise taking up space where no thought exists.

And, well, bravo for women in general…there would be no new generations without them. Men either.

I (a female) wrote a computer manual for a nationwide company I worked at years ago, and my female boss took credit for my work, had her name put in the publication as the “author,” and then the entire company tried to cover it up by not letting me see the final product. Just never mentioned it was completed and had been sent to the entire company. I quit, and they had to hire two people to replace me, and later that location was closed, no doubt because of the politics at that office. You see, the female boss was the general manager’s niece. Not only that, but it was against company policy to hire relatives in the first place. She was a real piece of work too, one of those lying maniuplators we’ve all run across who doesn’t do an honest day’s work, and gets promoted by faking her way through everything. I guess I have the last laugh, though. I saw a picture of her recently – and boy, has she put on weight. She must weigh twice what she did back then. Hey, I can be catty too.

When I went into the nuke industry as a structural engr. I realized on my second day the only girls that were “Ready and Willing” were the girls that really weren’t going anywhere. Yes they were beautiful and more than readily available. I was married but so were some of them. No difference to them. One girl ,and I quote sat down next to my desk and said : ( I give head to get ahead). If I were single maybe, but probably not. Nine out of twenty two of us in that dept found out. Last I heard of her she was a barmaid. Doing o.k.?
