That move by Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby sparked criticism among those who believe the medical findings could offer evidence contrary to Mosby’s account of events that led her to file serious charges against the six officers involved in Gray’s arrest and transport.
Now, the Baltimore Sun has reportedly obtained a leaked copy of the Gray autopsy and published its conclusions, many of which appear to be based on probabilities, likelihoods and suppositions. According to a report on the Fox News show The Kelly File Tuesday night, one of those conclusions was that Gray’s death in police custody was a “medical and legal accident and only ruled a homicide because [the medical examiner] was told the police failed to belt Gray into the [transport] van.”
