The two shootings could very well be connected. Hopefully the shooter is found and brought to justice.
NBC reports, One person is dead and four others wounded in two shooting incidents at the University of Illinois in Champaign early Sunday, according to police.
Around 12:38 a.m., officers responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the 300 block of East Green Street, according to a release from the Champaign Police Department.
