Coexistence: That Path May Seem and Feel Right, But it Ends in Death

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the inspiration and interpretation of the writer’s painting depicted above.

Human minds wander to questions of existence and purpose. People combat their emptiness with a deity, an idea, a movement – to provide fulfillment in their short-lived experience in the flesh.

They are frantic; searching for truth and purpose in their meaningless lives. Recently, many movements have swept our nation into an all loving, non-offensive and peaceful environment where everyone’s truth is valid as long as it works for them – coexist. In reality there are not infinite truths.

If there were, no moral set would stand as the highest truth, making savage morals equal to peaceful ones. There is only one truth. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” This is very blatant and straightforward, leaving no room for question.

However, people still choose to live out their own truths and don’t recognize the source from which their truth manifested. There is a father of all lies, and he breathes them into people so they might latch onto foolishness and never even know they are being deceived.

They are blinded by ambition and believe with their whole being they are producing something sweet to share with others, when in reality are simply spreading the lies intended to devour and destroy.
