Once more, as I have posted on sites, icluding a liberal one…both in the Arizona (Laughner) and New Town(Lanza) shootings…the problem was not either gun control nor mental health. Both characters were involved in disturbances before the actual shootings. The police should have put them behind bars and they wouldn’t have been free to proceed with their murder!

    • GRusling

If the people you note have a record, that means the “Police” did do their job and arrested them. KEEPING them in jail, however, is the job of our COURTS (politicians) and the Police have no say in the matter…

I have NO problem with hotels that affiliate with the NRA. In fact I would feel comfortable knowing they support the fact that people should be able to protect themselves and my be carrying. How long does it take for the people to respond to a call?

  • Dwight Palmer

Just another foreign org. trying to tell American what to do.
One of george soro’s front organizations.

  • URKiddinMee

I wasn’t aware that either of these chains gave NRA discounts since I already have membership in their loyalty programs. However, now that I know, I’ll frequent these two chains more often.

      ME TOO

  • cyrano

I would be glad to stay at NRA friendly hotels. It helps to have a hotel to be gun friendly as I hunt around the US. Firearms are expensive and a hotel which is open to those who are keeping them in their rooms for safety is beneficial. I have been to hotels which freaked out about two rifles I had in my posession for a Mule Deer hunt. I did not stay there the following year.

I want to know which hotels do not support the 2nd amendment, the NRA and our US constitution so I can avoid them.

    • Saltporkdoc

I do too, but can you imagine getting a straight answer out of those who do NOT support the 2nd amendment? The are all so hypocritical! they would twist and weasel like a worm on a hook! They know how much business THEY would lose!

      • James Crawford

Correct…the subversives to Liberty operate in the shadows when it comes to their own little piggy bank. They are cowards to the core.

    • http://www.facebook.com/rick.woodland.1 Rick Woodland

Just phone them ans ask if they offer discounts to NRA members, If the answer is NO than choose one that does.

The ones that get robbed all the time! Semper Fi.

      • medivac

We can see to it that they get robbed a bit more by removing our own firearms from their occupancy and putting them in those that support us !!
        Semper Fi

According to Gallup, the NRA enjoys a higher favorability rating than Congress, Obama, the media, lawyers, and a host of other groups. Maybe the other groups are the extremists.

Thanks, now i WILL KNOW where to stay.

  • mudslide

“It’s time for mainstream companies like Wyndham Hotels to get out of
bed with the extremist NRA,” said Joseph Huff-Hannon, a senior
    campaigner at Avaaz . . .

    LMAO!

  • antiliberalcryptonite

We will “target” liberal businesses. Stop going to Starbucks, Homo Depot, Costco, and tons of other lib businesses.

  • James Crawford

OK folks, it’s time again to roll out a high profile proof-of-support for these businesses like Best Western and Wyndham Hotel Group. Direct your business and pleasure travel housing towards these groups that are targets of being ostracized by the Liberals. Let’s show them where the Freedom bear always sleeps when on the prowl looking for those who wish to subvert Liberty.

  • jmokkonen

    This
kind of thing is popping up all over. It seems it is time to take the
gloves off. Does anyone have any constructive and concrete ideas for a
    counter strategy?

One thing to keep in mind is that the leftists
have successfully framed the debate from the public and media point of
view by painting 2nd Amendment advocates such as sportsmen, NRA, and
other gun advocates as extremists. This is the public perception that
is now developing. Any one who does agree with their position is being
painted as someone in favor of murdering little children.

    So
perhaps the 1st issue is…How do we recapture the way that public
debate is framed? How do we reset the way language is used?

    Any ideas?

  • Hiram Davis

For someone so against guns, why do these people continue to shoot themselves in the the foot?

  • Watchdogman

Will make sure I patronize all NRA motels/hotels now.

  • http://www.facebook.com/roger.ward.505 Roger Ward

Why don’t we have ourselves a million gun owner march on DC ? Maybe on the same day as the Inaguration. ??

  • http://www.facebook.com/chuck.tilley2 Chuck Tilley

I can see where I will stay at for now on. Best Western motels .A place who believe in people’s rights under the Consitution .

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Bob-Higginbotham/100000261072379 Bob Higginbotham

Another reason to join the NRA. Unlike the left wing nincompoops that seem to think guns can walk and talk by themselves the NRA is a responsible organization composed of responsible people.

  • Mainerinexile

Way to go, Wyndham hotels! We’re with you 100%!

  • LLinLa

Hmmm! Been reading a lot of these posts now. I think we need a Google map category of Conservative/Liberal businesses much like the legal gun owners map in that was published. When you enter a business, determine their position on issues then post a tag in Maps. Why limit it to just hotels?

  • WrenchSpinner

This is what ticks me off. If they supported the NAACP or some other organization it wouldn’t matter. Oh nooooo, because it is the dreaded NRA suddenly they are in the Devil’s pocket? What has this world come to when you can’t even make your own choices in who you support, believe in, or stand behind without scrutiny, ridicule, or some other form of harassment? Oh wait I know, a socialistic, soon to be totalitarian police society run by a tyrant in disguise and backed by an army assembled of foreign soldiers supplied by the UN. I forgot.

  • Paul Metcalf

I want go further than that, I want to list all those that are yelling for gun control and print them up and hand’em out to all the prisoners being let out on early parole and let everyone of them know that these are gun free zones, just do what you may. It ought to be easy pickins there.
