California is a state that persecutes the legal gun owner.
They do everything possible to make it impossible for their residents to protect themselves.
Just recently a law passed in Cali that makes it illegal for any gun owner to have a gun magazine that carries 10 rounds or more.
Luckily for this homeowner he was in the ‘right’ place to defend himself.
Two thugs broke into the anonymous resident’s home.
One was armed and both demanded him to open his safe.
A neighbors security camera caught what happened next.
The video, which was released by neighbor Reggie Nichols, shows the two men entering the home on the 200 block of Birch Street a little after 11pm on June 21.
Shortly after entering, flashes of light are seen inside the garage as the homeowner shoots at the two.
The homeowner is then seen chasing the two men outside and shooting at them more.
The homeowner survived the incident completely unharmed and although he was detained by police briefly, they recognized the incident as self defense.
‘The preliminary information shows it to be a home-invasion robbery,’ Brentwood police Lt. Walter O’Grodnick said. ‘Two suspects. One with a firearm. They presented a threat, and the shooting was prompted in self-defense.’
Typically if a suspect is shot outside the place of residence it doesn’t go over well for the homeowner.
Luckily for this man the police recognized his actions were legal.
