Some have thought (for a long time now) that it’s about time for Pelosi to call it quits. She’s been thinking Bush is still president, she’s been talking in circles, not making sense.
Yeah, it might just be time for her to go…
But she doesn’t think so. During a press conference, a reporter asked her if she is listening to those in her own party who “blame” her for the many special election losses.
Has she been listening to those who say she should “step aside and allow for some new leadership?”
Her response is… one for the ages:
“So you want me to sing my praises, is that what you’re saying? Why should I? Well, I’m a master legislator. I am a strategic, politically astute leader. My leadership is recognized by many around the country, and that is why I’m able to attract the support that I do, which is essential to our elections — sad to say.”
See? We told you.
Right now, Pelosi’s favorability rating is a 28.6%, according to Huffington Post’s rolling poll data.
Not sure where she is getting her support from. Probably the same place where she got her “master legislator” skills.
