“Whatever the decision is, I have real peace about it,” Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning said on the Today Show Monday morning in response to questions about a possible retirement from the NFL.
“I’m going to enjoy this Super Bowl victory and celebrate with my family and friends,” he said. He said it was advice offered to him by former coach Tony Dungy.
“I’ll keep doing it for a few more weeks, and then at the appropriate time, I think I’ll make a decision,” Manning said. “I have to tell you, though, I’m very much at peace with it.”
