Sen. Lindsey Graham is endorsing Jeb Bush this morning in North Charleston, S.C., giving a boost to Mr. Bush’s campaign in advance of the Feb. 20 South Carolina GOP presidential primary.
Messrs. Graham and Bush are holding a joint appearance at 9:45 a.m. EST, according to the Bush campaign. A Graham adviser confirmed the endorsement.
Mr. Graham dropped out of the presidential race just before Christmas, after a campaign in which he never gained much traction in the polls in spite of feisty performances in the second-tier debates. But Graham is a household name in South Carolina and has won every race he has run there for 23 years.
