There are laws on the books right now that can stop this kind of violence. If they were enforced, maybe these toddlers wouldn’t have fallen victim. Stop blaming guns and start solving the problem.
A 2-year-old boy was killed and a 3-year-old girl was wounded by stray bullets in a possible gang-related, drive-by shooting in Minneapolis on Friday, according to reports.
A pastor was sitting outside of North Memorial Medical Center when a man drove up carrying a young child, according to the Star Tribune. Both were covered in blood.
“All we know is gunshots ring out, a child is dead and another is fighting for life,” pastor Jayme Ali told the newspaper.
The bullets flew on Penn Avenue North and Lowry Avenue North in the city,according to KSTP. The station reported the shooting appeared to be gang related, and that the children were struck by stray bullets.
