Mexican Journalist’s Bullet-Riddled Body Found


Twenty-eight-year-old Journalist Alberto Lopez was covering crime and corruption in Oaxaca, Mexico. Apparently he was covering it too well. His bullet-riddled body was found Wednesday in a corn field in the village of Trinidad de Viguera alongside another victim identified as Arturo Alejandro Franco.

According to the Associated Press, Lopez’ publication is outraged over the assassination:

El Imparcial newspaper condemned the killing of reporter Alberto Lopez, who was found Wednesday along with another unidentified man on a street in Oaxaca City.
