In a tragic early morning story on Friday, a financial couple living in Manhattan jumped from their office building to their deaths, ‘ leaving behind a suicide note indicating their despair over their inability to pay their medical bills,’ reports the Daily Wire.
Early Friday morning a middle-aged financial couple in Manhattan jumped to their deaths, with the husband, 53, leaving behind a suicide note indicating their despair over their inability to pay their medical bills.
The husband, 53, and wife, 50, both left behind separate letters, according to law enforcement. The man’s typewritten letter said the following:
“WE HAD A WONDERFUL LIFE,” adding “Patricia and I had everything in life.” But the husband segued to writing of the couple’s “financial spiral” and how “we can not live with” the “financial reality.” He added contained words to the effect: “’We both have medical issues, we just can’t afford the health care.’”
The woman, “In sum and substance, ‘Our kids are upstairs, please take care of them.’”
They were on the 9th-floor when they leapt. Jumping from the window of a 17-story corner office building on Madison Avenue. The couple allegedly jumped around 5:45 a.m.
Maybe if Obamacare wasn’t in place this couple would still be alive and able to pay for their health care bills, recover from their illnesses, and see their kids grow to an older age.
Unfortunately that is not what happened.
