Hillary is one of those people that shouldn’t have power of any kind. But it looks like she may get it. A source close to her is saying she is seriously considering running for NYC mayor. This doesn’t sound good for New Yorkers (although with them, they might love it), but looking at the bright side, at least it isn’t president.

The latest report comes from TMZ, who spoke with an attendee of a recent small gathering with Clinton and some key NYC political players. According to TMZ’s source, the failed presidential candidate brought up a mayorial run:
Hillary Clinton was at a small gathering recently with some politically connected people in NYC, and it seems she’s noodling the idea of running for mayor.
A source who was at the gathering last month says Hillary brought up the topic of running and made it clear she was honestly considering it.
We’re told she was talking to people in her close circle to gauge the level of interest and support in a Clinton candidacy.
The claims by the TMZ source fall in line with other recent reports of Clinton eyeing the prestigious mayorship. Though Team Clinton has shrugged off the rumors publicly, reports of tension between Mayor Bill de Blasio and Clinton, along with de Blasio’s struggling poll numbers, have added fuel to the fire.
A recent Quinnipiac poll found that if Clinton ran as an Independent, she would beat the embattled de Blasio by nearly 20 points, 49 to 30.
