PURCELLVILLE — Starbucks is asking that its customers stop bringing guns into the store.
Even in states like Virginia, where open carry is permitted.
Their reason: “Guns should not be part of the Starbucks experience,” Starbucks CEOHoward Schultz said in a video message to employees Tuesday.
This is not an outright ban, though. It is merely a request.
Customers who choose to carry openly into a store where it is legal will not be confronted or asked to leave.
