Among those surveyed, 86 percent said Clinton. Just 10 percent named Republican front-runner Donald Trump and only 1 percent named his nearest rival for the nomination, Ted Cruz.
The survey also asked whether the reporters planned to vote and if so, for whom. A plurality, 36 percent, said they didn’t plan to vote and 31 percent said they weren’t sure who they would vote for. But 12 percent said they would vote for Clinton while only 1 percent named her Democratic rival Bernie Sanders. Another 1 percent each went to Trump and Cruz.
