Next week a Senate judiciary subcommittee will convene. They have asked Susan Rice to testify on the Russian interference in the US presidential election.
Well, guess what? Susan Rice REJECTED the invitation.
Is this a self admittance of guilt?
According to CNN, Sen. Lindsey Graham sent the request to Barack Obama’s national security adviser but she turned it down.
“Senator Whitehouse has informed us by letter that he did not agree to Chairman Graham’s invitation to Ambassador Rice, a significant departure from the bipartisan invitations extended to other witnesses,” Rice’s lawyer Kathryn Ruemmler wrote in a letter to Graham. “Under these circumstances, Ambassador Rice respectfully declines Senator Graham’s invitation to testify.”
If you remember, dear ol’ Susie was the Obama administration official who made multiple requests to unmask the identities of Trump’s team.
She claims it was for national security reasons and in no way politically motivated.
During a live interview on an MSNBC show hosted by Andrea Mitchell, Susan Rice was asked if she would go up and testify before Congress if she had any part in the unmasking of the identities of Trump’s team.
That’s when things got really interesting for the viewers and totally awkward for Rice.
Susan seemed stunned that someone on MSNBC would actually ask her such a question (to be honest we kind of are too), stammering over her words until she finally stopped talking gibberish and switched the subject to RUSSIA.
My friends, this is political theater at it’s best! You have to watch this.
Asked if she would testify, Susan Rice freezes, stammers, then changes subject to Russia. pic.twitter.com/wj2TQ9saeU
