Susan Rice, whom served as National Security Advisor for Obama, believe the U.S. Government should hold off on confronting Kim Jong-un’s nuclear weapons program, stating we should give-up and ‘tolerate’ a nuclear-armed North Korea.
How about, no?
She made this absurd statement in an op-ed for the New York Times. In her article she slams President Trump’s “empty threat of nuclear war” and his additional comments that “further erode American credibility.”
The senior Obama aide urged American officials to avoid war at all costs and accept North Korea as a full-fledged nuclear power, reports Hannity.
“War is not necessary to achieve prevention, despite what some in the Trump administration seem to have concluded,” writes Rice. “History shows that we can, if we must, tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea — the same way we tolerated the far greater threat of thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons during the Cold War.”
“To avoid blundering into a costly war, the United States needs to immediately halt the reckless rhetoric,” she added.
Her poorly timed article published hours after North Korea announced they’re planning to attack Guam, a U.S. territory just about 2000 miles from the Korean peninsula — which is striking distance for their missiles — and houses 7 major American military bases.
So, Rice says we need to ‘tolerate’ NK nuclear missiles… what do you say?
