LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn has sparked outrage after suggesting the UK government should engage in ‘back channel’ talks with ISIS terrorists.
The firebrand leftie made the shocking comments on BBC1’s The Andrew Marr Show, as he called for a political solution to the Syrian conflict.
Mr Corbyn stated there must be a “route through” to Islamic State, also known as ISIL, which could help end the bloodshed.
But he did not go as far as suggesting a ‘dialogue’ could be struck up with the murderous jihadis, who regularly post beheading videos online.
The incumbent pointed to other governments in the region who are “in touch” with the leaders of Daesh, another term for ISIS, and compared that to Britian’s position in the past.
