Get ready to watch this and shake your head violently in disgust.
Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) was the politician who called for President Trump to be impeached from the House floor, Wednesday morning.
He claimed his move wasn’t for political purposes (yeah right) and went on to accuse the president of obstruction of justice.
“I rise today with a sense of responsibility and duty to the people who have elected me, a sense of duty to this country, a sense of duty to the Constitution of the United States of America,” he began. “I rise today Mr. Speaker to call for the impeachment of the President of the United States of America for obstruction of justice.”
“There is a belief in this country that no one is above the law. And that includes the President of the United States of America.”
Green tweeted his ridiculous plans early Wednesday morning.
During his speech he asked the American people, “let us know where you stand.”
Today on the floor of the Congress of the United States of America, I will call for the Impeachment of the President between 9am & 10am CST.

“The American people don’t participate on Election Day only,” he said. “It is time for you to let us know where you stand. … The American people should speak out, speak up.”
Apparently this liberal’s call for Trump’s impeachment is nothing but a “position of conscience for me.”
Not some political move to give him press for an up coming election.
“Each member of Congress has to make his or her decision,” he said. “This is where I stand; I will not be moved. The president must be impeached.”
Nancy Pelosi kind of made her decision yesterday during a CNN town hall.
Surprisingly enough, she is NOT calling for the impeachment of Donald Trump.
Of course, this is subject to change, but still… shocking.

The Texas Democrat noted that this impeachment won’t mean that he will be found guilty (is he admitting to knowing he is wrong?) but that, “it simply means the House of Representatives will bring charges against the president.”
If you read between the lines here is what this means: Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit, I need attention. Someone pay attention to me. I said this is not a political move, but that is what it really is.
America, let him know how you feel and tweet back at him.
