Dakota Meyer is a retired Marine Corps sergeant. He was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2011 for his conduct during a 2009 operation in Afghanistan.
In case you are trying to figure out where you heard his name before, he is also Sarah Palin’s son-in-law (married to daughter Bristol).
No matter what you think about Sarah or her daughter, this is for certain; we sure as heck agree with what Meyer had to say in an interview with Fox & Friends.
“The only way you get this point across is when we release the gates of hell on them, and we go over and we just start making war so ugly [that the enemy cannot continue fighting].
“At least we have a president in place that’s not gonna allow us to be the victims. You can guarantee he’s gonna do whatever it’s gonna take, no matter if it’s the most popular thing in the court of public opinion. He’s gonna do what’s right to protect America.”
“We have to stop fighting wars with politics and political agendas. [We have to] go over there and make it ugly. We have to make war so ugly that nobody wants to fight it, anymore. And afterwards, he start building back what we have to build back. But first we have to go get rid of these [Islamic terrorists]. These people are just like rats. You can’t negotiate with these types of people. There’s only way to get rid of this type of evil, and that’s by killing them.”
Yes, we very much agree with what he said. If you do too, let us know in the comments below!
