Democrats have rallied to the defense of the Obama administration in the wake of newly released emails that link then-UN Ambassador Susan Rice directly to a White House aide to a “prep call” prior to her appearances on several Sunday TV shows where she made controversial and flawed statements linking the attack to an anti-Islam Internet video.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi repeatedly called media coverage of the new Benghazi developments “diversion” and “subterfuge,” as Republicans in the House and Senate dialed up pressure on White House officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, with a subpoena to testify before a key panel and the formation of a special committee to investigate.
The father of Ty Woods, a Navy SEAL who was killed in the September 11, 2012 terror attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, is speaking out on the latest revelations on the alleged White House cover-up in the wake of the tragedy.
“The people of the United States as well as the families need to know what actually happened,” Charles Woods told SeanHannity. He called the select congressional committee “an answer to prayer.”
Charles Woods called the newly released emails a “smoking gun,” and said that a failure in the Obama administration’s foreign policy directly led to the death of his son and three other Americans.
