HOLLY HILL, Fla. -A mother accused of shoplifting attacked a Family Dollar store clerk Wednesday night in Holly Hill and also had her daughter help her beat the woman, police said.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the Family Dollar at 1549 North Nova Road.

According to Holly Hill police, a shopper, who had two girls — ages 1 and 7 — walked into the store, placing items in her shopping cart.  The clerk said she saw the woman take a sale sign out of her purse and place it on a toy, which she tried to purchase with other items.
