Being in The Military Means You’re a Racist, According to HuffPo

Liberals have taken a brake from calling milk racist and have laser-beamed their attention on the military.

Ever since the Charlottesville protests, the left have had a hay-day. Headline after headline from the liberal media has been racism-this, racism-that and it’s all the Republicans’ fault, of course.

Apparently now, if you serve in the military you inherently become a racist. Huffington Post writer David Fagin based this claim off of a reporter’s experience — Elle Reeve from Vice News — during the Unite the Right rally, where she ran into a few Iraqi War veterans; as well as his own prejudiced uncle, whom served 40 years with the NY Police Department.

“To think that even a small portion of them are returning from duty harboring feelings of such intense anger and disgust toward anyone who isn’t white, leads one to believe the military isn’t doing enough in the area of outreach, post-discharge,” said Fagin.

Of course he didn’t have any actual proof for his theory, but he certainly had someone to pin-point all of this on…

“The utter failure by our so-called Commander-in-Chief [President Trump] to condemn these hate groups has prompted the leaders of our armed forces to do the unthinkable, to step out of rank with the president and speak out against it, themselves. And, while their action is commendable, the military needs to focus their attention on treating this new type of expression of their trauma, as, although returning from battle steadfast in the ‘Us vs. Them’ mentality is nothing new, taking a job as security guard for neo-nazis, is.”

It seems odd though that this liberal would find fault with Trump when President Obama failed to end the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, fix the Veterans Administration, or deal with the racism issue head on.

In fact, the person most responsible for helping veterans when they come home is President Trump, through several VA reform bills he’s signed into law.

Facts be damned, institutions that provide order and Republican presidents are always to blame for advancing a condemnable world view, even when they aren’t.
