Boston Marathon Bombing Heroes Threw First Pitch For The Red Sox

redsoxBOSTON — Two heroes from the Boston Marathon bombings threw out ceremonial pitches before the Red Sox faced the Phillies on Tuesday at Fenway Park.

Jeff Bauman lost both of his legs in the tragedy on April 15 and is now in a wheelchair, but his life was saved by a man in a cowboy hat, Carlos Arredondo.

Just after the explosions, Arredondo lifted the severely wounded Bauman into a wheelchair and found help.

When Bauman, who was at the race to cheer on his girlfriend, awoke from surgery, he helped the FBI identify the alleged suspects in the attack.
