BREAKING: It’s Official…

Through a long battle in the senate the day has finally come.

Niel Gorsuch was sworn in on Monday as the 113th Justice of the Supreme Court.

Now all the nine seats at the highest court of the land are filled. Justice Gorsuch’s nomination fills in Antonin Scalia’s previously occupied chair.

Gorsuch was publicly sworn in at the White House in the Rose Garden by Justice Anthony Kennedy.

This event took place after a private ceremony was conducted by Chief Justice John Roberts.

Gorsuch and Kennedy have a long history together. Neil used to clerk for Anthony more than 20 years ago.

In attendance at the ceremony was Scalia’s widow and son; certainly an emotional moment for them both.

Gorsuch at age 49 is now the youngest member of the Supreme Court.
