‘Caravan’ of Refugees Climb U.S.-Mexico Border While Chanting, “Yes We Can!”

Over 200 “refugees” from Central America have congregated at the U.S. border in Tijuana. They traveled across Mexico and are now climbing our border fence, taunting U.S. officials by shouting “Gracias, Mexico!” Also, showing support of former president Obama, they chanted “Si Se Puede!” (Yes We Can!) from atop the fence.

The group originally had around 1,500 members from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. Many disappeared in Mexico during the journey, but the hundreds that have made it to the U.S. border plan to request asylum in the U.S.

“Pro-immigration groups have dispatched lawyers to Tijuana to help instruct the refugees on how to get into the country,” reports the Daily Wire. “Mexico has allowed the refugees to move unimpeded through the country, which prompted their gratitude.”

Federal officials said on Saturday that some refugees illegally crossed the U.S. border.

“A pregnant woman and some children as young as 4 were detected entering the U.S. through a canyon,” the Los Angeles Times reported.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued a statement about those illegals, claiming on Saturday afternoon that they were part of the caravan, only “people associated with” the caravan; which is a very ambiguous statement.

Monday morning President Trump tweeted the caravan will not be allowed in. “I have instructed the Secretary of Homeland Security not to let these large Caravans of people into our Country. It’s a disgrace. We are the only Country in the World so Naive! WALL”.
