One entitled chick at the University of California, Riverside, felt it was her right and duty to steal another student’s “Make America Great Again” hat from his head. Turns out that decision is bitting her in the butt now.
She is facing up to “one year in county jail.”
The College Fix has reported that the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office charged the woman, Edith Macias, with one count of grand theft for the incident which was caught on film.

Macias allegedly stole the hat off of Matthew Vitale’s head on September 27 and charges were filed after the incident.
Vitale’s video of the whole ordeal went viral.
“The next court date on the matter is slated for March, and the maximum penalty Macias faces if convicted as currently charged is one year in county jail,” The Fix added.
Macias felt she had the right to take the hat because it symbolized “genocide of a bunch of people,” as she repeatedly yelled in the video.
“UCR is letting people wear this shit on campus?” Macias said. “Make American Great Again, really? There were lynchings and genocide and mass deportations. I fucking hate this country… and I am not leaving. We need to get rid of all ya’ll.”
When Vitale demanded for his hat back, Macias went on a rage filled rant:
“F*** your freedom of speech boy, your freedom of speech is literally killing a lot of people out there, your hats like these that promote laws and legislation that literally kill and murder people of color,” Macias continued.
