Conservative ‘Miss USA’ FORCED by Liberals to Recant Healthcare Comment…

Being a public figure is hard. Especially when you’re expected to represent a generation of ‘diversity’.

The new winner of Miss USA pageant was just that, but she didn’t give liberals the type of diversity they wanted.

Kára McCullough, from District of Columbia, is a black female scientist and beautiful. She represents the strong, independent woman every liberal wants on their poster child… only Kára has one problem.

She is an independent thinker!

During her competition McCullough stated:

I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege. As a government employee, I am granted healthcare. And I see firsthand that for one to have healthcare, you need to have jobs. So therefore, we need to continue to cultivate this environment that we’re given the opportunities to have healthcare as well as jobs to all the American citizens worldwide.

How dare she say that?!

…at least that is what liberals think.

Today, Kára was forced to renounce her statement on ABC’s Good Morning America:

McCullough [recanted] in response to host Michael Strahan asking her about her statement during the competition that healthcare is a “privilege,” rather than a right. When Strahan asked if she was surprised by the strong reaction online, McCullough said, “Not at all. I believe that is what America is based on… having opinions and views.” But in what was obviously a rehearsed retraction, she went on to “clarify” what she really meant to say.

“But I would like to just take this moment to truly just clarify, because I am a woman, I’m gonna own what I said,” she said. “I am privileged to have healthcare, and I do believe it should be a right. I hope and pray moving forward that healthcare is a right for all, worldwide.”

The left wins again.

Hopefully Miss McCullough will find courage moving forward to stand up for her beliefs and brave the liberal storm.
