Dan Rather Calls New Gun-Control Movement a “Children’s Crusade” and a “New Tipping Point” [VIDEO]

During CNN’s show Reliable Sources, hosted by Brian Stelter, Dan Rather sat down with Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg to discuss the “March For Our Lives” event that is to take place on March 24.

Rather stated during the interview, “This march could be a tipping point. This is the first time in years that I have sensed within myself we’re near a tipping point. We’ll see how big the march is and the big thing is do you and the other students have staying power. You have the willpower, but do you have the staying power?”

If the gun rights movement doesn’t approach this issue with the seriousness and delicacy that it needs to be treated with, then Rather could very well be right.

Hogg is doing a very good job at making us gun owners play into the left’s narrative.

We have to remember Hogg is one of the shooting survivors. It seems that even before the shooting occurred he didn’t much care for guns.

With emotions running high through this teen — who is on his school’s debate team and is looking to get into Harvard to study Political Science — the media is having no trouble using him to push their long standing gun-control agenda.

Don’t underestimate these kids. It would be a mistake.
