Daniel Hall sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting infant daughter

FLINT, MI –Daniel Hall was sentenced Wednesday, Nov. 28 to serve the rest of his life in prison after he sexually assaulted his infant daughter.

Hall offered an apology before his sentencing.

“What I did was really stupid and I’m more sorry than I can ever find words to express,” Hall said.

He told Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey Neithercut that hoped justice would be served and that he was glad he got caught.

Neithercut had strong words for Hall before handing down his sentence.

“In my 26 years as a judge I have seen dangerous people,” said Neithercut. “I regard you as one of the most dangerous.”

Hall, 25, was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, child sexually abusive activity, distributing child sexually abusive materials and communicating with another person over the internet to commit a crime.
