Another hero has emerged in the French train attack: a French-American professor.

Professor Mark Moogalian was shot in the neck after being the first person to confront the gunman on the high speed train, which was traveling between Amsterdam and Paris.

Moogalian’s wife Isabella said that her husband noticed that a man went into the bathroom with a suitcase for a long time and then exited with an AK-47 in hand, prompting Moogalian to jump into action and grab the gun.
