Fox News host Greta Van Susteren lambasted MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry for warning a guest on Saturday to “be super careful” when using the term “hard worker.”

“Now, what could possibly be wrong with the description ‘hard worker,’ right?” Van Susteren rhetorically asked, before playing a clip of Harris-Perry’s remarks during Tuesday night’s “On the Record.”

“I just want to pause on one thing, because I don’t disagree with you that I actually think Mr. Ryan is a great choice for this role,” Harris-Perry said to a guest who had called Republican Rep. Paul Ryan a “hard worker.” “But I want us to be super careful when we use the language ‘hard worker.’ Because I actually keep an image of folks working in cotton fields on my office wall … it is a reminder about what hard work looks like.”
