Gun Control ‘Expert’ Kim Kardashian Writes Letter On Why We Need Stricter Laws — ‘All of my security team is armed, but …’

Selfie expert (try putting that on your resume) Kim Kardashian thought she would take a stab at being taken seriously.

It didn’t work but we will tell you what she had to say for the fun of it.

She decided to weigh in on why we need stricter gun law and called out President Trump for allowing dangerous people easy access to fire arms.

She posted this on her blog:

“In almost 20 years, our country has made very little progress in enacting laws that would help protect innocent Americans from people who should not have access to firearms. Right now, there are more guns owned by civilians in this country than in any other country in the world.”

Oh, time for the Trump bashing to begin!

“In February of this year, President [Donald] Trump actually signed a bill revoking a regulation recommended by President [Barack] Obama that would have added 75,000 names of people with registered mental illnesses to a national background check database. This is Crazy!”

What about the three terror attacks that happened in London? They were done with cars, knives, and bombs. Should we outlaw cars and knives as well? Or would that be too “crazy”?

She continues to talk about her work with the anti-gun group Everytown, and asks the question, “Is it more important to protect the Second Amendment than to protect our own children?”

What about being able to protect your children because of the Second Amendment? Many parents have done it. Many parents have taught their children how to protect themselves which later saved that child’s life. What does Kim say to those parents?

She wanted us all to know, though, that she’s not anti-Second Amendment (finding that hard to believe).

“After what happened to me in Paris, I know how important it is to be safe and to have armed security. All of my security team is armed, but they also support stricter gun control laws and believe that we should restrict access to firearms for people with mental illness, anyone previously convicted of a misdemeanor, those who have been subject to a temporary restraining order and those at a higher risk of committing gun violence.”

With the way she talks about her security guards, does she want everyone to have some? Because honey, I can take care of myself and I don’t need to waste my money.

She ended with her hope that America would not become vicious by continued acts of gun violence. She said her only wish is to help build a safer future for my children and I believe together we can find ways to do that, while still protecting the rights of the American people.”

Though reactions were mixed, there were many who were not a fan (us included):

So what are your thoughts? Is a “reality star’s” opinion enough to get people on the anti-gun train?
