A 17-year-old high school student plotted a mass shooting terror attack at a mall in Frisco, Texas. He pledged allegiance to ISIS, according to authorities, and planned to carry out the mass terror attack in May.
He has since been arrested and records show he reportedly spent $1,400 on “weapons and tactical gear for his attack,” according to CBS Dallas.
The alleged Islamic terrorist’s manifest was obtained by authorities, where it claimed he attempted to recruit others to help him in this attack. He planned on using firearms as well as explosives.
“I want to put America in the state that Europe is in, which is having to have soldiers deployed in streets,” the teen terrorist said, according to an affidavit. “Something that will cost them a lot financially too.”
The FBI started building a profile on him since last December after the alleged Islamic terrorist messaged an FBI source on an app, expressing a desire to carry out an attack. In the message he stated he was reading ISIS instruction manuals on “performing operations and making bombs.”
Telling the FBI’s source he said, “It is not about how many kills, but how much money you will make these countries spend in security just for a simple attack… although having a high number will get their attention.”
The teen terrorist told the FBI he had to wait until he was 18-years-old to buy the guns he needed to commit the attack, and mentioned he planned on attacking other places.
“There is a Hindu temple I want to shoot up,” he said while reportedly asking for help. “Get some crappy car and ditch it somewhere. Police response time here is really slow.”
Speaking about the mall attack to the FBI source he said, “I’d actually like to make a cop surrender and drop his gun. Then, douse him with gasoline and burn him. Record it.”
The motive behind the attacks were due to the U.S. conducting military operations in Islamic countries, “It will never end, we target your people as revenge for ours who were slaughtered.”
The teen faces a life time in prison sentence. Talking to CBS Dallas, his uncle stated his nephew couldn’t be a terrorist or even capable of something so evil because he “is even afraid of the family’s two cats.”
