VP Joe Biden never fails the public with his outlandish remarks. Although I do agree with his first statement that a shotgun is a good self-defense gun for a home invasion, I do not agree with his remark to ‘shoot through the door’ or his stance on making AR-15s illegal.
It’s always best to know what your target is and unless you can see through walls, I don’t suggest shooting until you’ve got a visual. Blade runner Oscar Pistorius did exactly what Biden suggested, maybe not with a shotgun but he still shot through the door, and look where it landed him: single and on trial for the murder of his girlfriend.
