Melania Trump ‘Flaunts’ Her Support for Philippines in Their Fight Against ISIS

Do you recall any time Michelle Obama wore a designer piece of clothing from a country being ravaged by ISIS?

Nope? Us neither.

FLOTUS Melanie Trump attended Ford’s Theatre Gala in D.C. with President Trump in an evening gown that was not only stunning but had a political message.

A Filipino designer made the gown. Melania wore it at a time when Islamic State militants continue to wage a large-scale, murderous campaign.

The terror group is trying to establish a Caliphate in south Philippines.

For their first high-society gathering — at an event to honor President Abraham Lincoln — Melania chose a blush-toned slinky gown by Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier. The dress retails at $2,595.

What’s interesting about the choice is that Melania usually wears American designers Michael Kors or Ralph Lauren; but, we can’t forget her favorite Italian brand, Dolce & Gabbana.

Rarely have you seen the first lady in Monique’s designs.

There has been no official statement Melania’s choice of gown was on purpose or not to shed light on the Philippines’ conflict with ISIS.

The nation has recently gone through weeks of attacks by the terror group.

Witnesses from the southern city of Marawi, which is besieged by ISIS, have said they’re recruiting children as young as 13yr-old to carry out executions.

Last month, terrorist fighters from the ISIS-affiliated Maute group freed roughly 100 terrorists from Mindanao prisons before raising the Islamic State flag over the city. Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte — who resides on the island of Mindanao, where Marawi is located — has declared a 60-day period of martial law in response to the ongoing crisis.

Last week, an attack at a Philippines casino left 36 people dead from smoke inhalation after a gunman set fire to the building. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, but the perpetrator, 42-year-old Jessie Carlos, was later reported to have been a gambling addict who was heavily in debt.

So what do you think, did Melania wear the dress to raise awareness?
