Missing 14yr-Old Girl Found Dead in Landfill, Police Need Your Help

Tragedy has hit one Texas family.

Kaytlynn Cragill, 14, went missing on Monday after she took her dog for a walk. According to Bedford Police she was last seen at 6:20pm, close to her home.

Two days later, someone working at the Arlington landfilled discovered a body.

Medical examiners confirmed that the body was Kaytlynn, according to WFAA.

Cause of death has been withheld from the media, but one can only speculate the worse.

A neighbor told WFAA he saw the teen tie her dog’s leash to a fence and ask friends to watch the animal, but she never returned.

‘I didn’t hear any yells and it happened right behind my balcony,’ said neighbor Zach McDaniel. ‘I heard no yells, no helps, no nothing.’

When Kaytlynn was reported missing, authorities said they had no reason to believe that she was in any danger, nor did they have any reason to suspect foul play.

‘We will pursue every lead, leave no stone unturned and bring the person or persons responsible for Kaytlynn’s death to justice,’ Lt Kirk Roberts told the station.

Authorities are asking anyone with information pertaining to the death of Kaytlynn to call the Bedford Police Department at 817-952-2440 or contact the Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
