Pitbull Rescues Stranded Cancer Patients in Puerto Rico

In an amazing act of charity, singer Pitbull donated his private plane to the nation of Puerto Rico to help save cancer patients in need of chemotherapy.

They were transferred from the island to the United states. The artist, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, was praised by Puerto Rico congresswoman Jenniffer Gonzalez for his generosity.

‘Thank you Pitbull for lending your private plane to move cancer patients from PR to USA so that they can get chemo,’ she wrote.

The rapper told the Daily News ‘Thanks God we’re blessed to help. Just doing my part.’

His actions are part of a relief effort to help the island after being hit by hurricanes Irma & Maria.

‘His collaborator Jennifer Lopez was recently in the news for donating a phenomenal $1 million to those affected by the humanitarian crisis,’ Unilad reported.

Jen said: “What’s foremost in my mind and many others, is trying to figure out the best way to help. 

Our island of Puerto Rico has been hit by two of the most devastating hurricanes we’ve ever seen: Irma and Maria. Today, Puerto Rico needs our help.

I urge you to support and donate to the efforts of the first lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rossello.”
