‘AND SISTERHOOD’: Ladies From ‘Hamilton’ Sing ‘America the Beautiful’ — But The Song Sounds Different

The ladies from the Broadway musical “Hamilton” had the honor of singing “America the Beautiful” before Super Bowl. They have lovely voices, no one is denying that, but what has people buzzing is the rendition of the song. Take a listen and vote. Do you think this was appropriate?

The three, who have since left the Tony-winning production, tweaked the penultimate line of the first verse by singing, “And crown thy good with brotherhood … and sisterhood” before finishing, “from sea to shining sea!”
