Screen Shot 2016-05-31 at 10.54.15 AMNothing like showing your appreciation for those who served our country by trying to run them over. This is insane!

At about 5:30 p.m. just north of County Line Road, two people on a motorcycle were injured due to a driver’s road rage.

Joe Calderazzo — a Navy Veteran — is the man you see being run over.

“I thought the guy was trying to kill us obviously,” Calderazzo explained. “You know you don’t know what’s going through your mind. Is he going to put the car in reverse? Is her going to turn around? Is he going to stop and pull out a gun? You don’t know what’s going on.”

This all happened just after a Memorial Day bike ride for veterans.

The driver has been identified as 31-year-old Robert Paul Vance of Land O’ Lakes. Vance is being charged with hit-and-run, a moving traffic violation, and aggravated battery. He is a habitual traffic offender.
